PawnVision

Careers

PawnVision is a small software studio out of Islamabad. Small on purpose — small enough that everyone on the team understands how the products work end-to-end. We’re hiring for a handful of roles each year, and only when the product needs it.

Why join

  • You’ll ship real products to real users. No three-month “discovery” phases, no Gantt charts nobody reads.
  • Ownership from day one. Everyone has commit access, every role touches product decisions.
  • Compensation that respects time. Above-market salary (quoted in PKR) + equity in the parent studio, half-yearly profit share.
  • Remote-friendly. Islamabad HQ with flexible WFH. We meet synchronously twice a week, async the rest.
  • Serious engineering standards. CI on every commit, code review on every PR, incident retro on every page.

Open roles

Senior AI Engineer

RAG pipelines, evals, grounding. You’ll own the QanoonX retrieval stack and join the TeamContext MCP work. 5+ years building production software, 1+ year with LLMs.

Full-stack Engineer (Next.js + Postgres)

You’ll split time across PawnCRM and TeamContext feature work. Type-safe end-to-end, server components where they earn their keep. 3+ years shipping web apps.

Product Designer

One designer across all three products. You’ll own the PawnVision design system and translate it into each product’s surface. 4+ years designing software, strong typography taste.

Customer Success Lead

First full-time CS hire. You’ll talk to Pakistani advocates using QanoonX, founders using PawnCRM, and engineering managers using TeamContext. 3+ years in B2B SaaS CS.

How we hire

  1. Intro call — 30 minutes, mostly us asking about your last project.
  2. Take-home — a small, paid, 4-hour task reflective of the actual role.
  3. Pair session — 90 minutes with your would-be teammates, working on a real (anonymised) problem from our backlog.
  4. Offer — usually within 10 business days of the intro call.
